Mention your dietary requirements on your registration form when you register. Dietary requirements examples: vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher, lactose intolerant, gluten free, and allergies. Of course other dietary requirements are possible, just inform the Reception Committee before the Annual Congress starts. During the congress, the staff of the castle will make sure that you get your meals according to your dietary requirements.
If you will not arrive on arrival day (Monday April 23rd) or leave on departure day (Sunday April 29th), please let the RC know on your registration form when registering. If you already registered and something has come up, causing you to arrive later of depart earlier, you can send an email to Eva, our Registrations Officer (firstname.lastname@example.org). The days that you will not be able to attend will not be refunded. The RC will only arrange transportation from and to the railway station of Venlo on arrival day and departure day. If you don’t travel on those days, you will have to arrange transportation yourself. Baarlo does not have a train station, but the bus connection to Venlo is quite good. You can look up your trip at www.ns.nl. This website recognises ‘de Berckt’ as a location.

Wondering how to reach our venue by public transport? From the city of Venlo the RC will provide transportation to our castle on the day of arrival (Monday 23rd) and the day of departure (Sunday 29th). From Schiphol (Amsterdam) to Venlo
- trains go every half our directly from the airport to Venlo and take 2 hours.
From Eindhoven airport to Venlo
- take the bus to Eindhoven train station
- from the train station trains go directly to Venlo every half hour and take 40 min.

From Düsseldorf airport (Germany) to Venlo
- take the bus to Düsseldorf train station
- from the train station trains go directly to Venlo every hour and take 1 hour.

The registration fee differs per registration period. The first registration period starts on December 1st 2017 and will end on January 31st 2018. During the first registration period, the registration fee is €325,-. The second registration period starts on February 1st 2018 and will end on March 31st 2018. During the second registration period, the registration fee will be €375,-. These are the prices for regular participants. Different registration fees apply for members of the EPSA Team, EPSA Trainers, and Helping Team.
The registration fee includes your stay at castle The Berckt, three meals a day, participation of the entire programme, and wi-fi. Transportation to and from all activities that are not at the castle is also covered by your participation fee.
After registration, you will receive a confirmation of your registration accompanied by the Payment Terms & Conditions. After receiving these Payment Terms & Conditions, you are requested to transfer the fee within ten days (including weekend days).
In the Payment Terms & Conditions it is explained that payment is only possible by online banking. It is not possible to pay by other ways (e.g. credit card, PayPal). Payment must be done in Euros (€). All bank transfer expenses must be covered by the participant.
The Registrations Officer of the RC will send you a confirmation of registration and payment request when your registration is accepted. It is possible that your registration is not accepted yet because you have a large delegation (at first, only six participants per delegation are accepted) and other people registered earlier.
The first activities on Monday April 23rd are the First Attendees Meeting (for all participants that are attending their first EPSA event) and the Liaison Secretaries (LS) Meeting (for Liaison Secretaries). The exact time of these meetings will be corresponded as soon as possible, but these meetings will be held in the afternoon.
No. For attendance of the parties, a minimum of 75% participation in that days educational programme is mandatory. Per day, this means the following attendance is needed for access to the social programme:
- Monday: exception, all participants are welcome to attend the opening ceremony.
- Tuesday: attending both sessions of the symposium (9:00h-11:00h & 11:30h-13:00h) is mandatory. At least one afternoon session must also be attended.
- Wednesday: attending both sessions of the symposium (9:00h-11:00h & 11:30h-13:00h) is mandatory. At least one afternoon session must also be attended.
- Thursday: at least three out of four sessions must be attended.
- Friday: due to Sightseeing in the afternoon, all educational sessions of the morning are mandatory.
- Saturday: because of gala dinner, there will be only three sessions on Saturday. 75% attendance means that all three sessions are mandatory.
For members of the K.N.P.S.V., the hosting association, there was a limited amount of gala tickets available. The gala ticket include the gala dinner, gala ball, a stay of one night at the castle, and breakfast on Sunday. The sale for the gala tickets is closed, if you wish to attend, send an email to Eva van Haren, our Registrations & PR Officer. If you wish to only attend the gala, you don’t need to register for the congress.
No, there is one kind of gala ticket. Arranging your stay elsewhere will not reduce the price of the gala ticket.
Participation of the congress is possible for members of EPSA. If you are a member of your local or national association and your local or national association is a member of EPSA (http://www.epsa-online.org/member-associations/), it means that you are a member of EPSA. EPSA Alumni are also EPSA members. If your local or national association is not associated with EPSA, but you are enrolled in a Pharmacy-related education (e.g. Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences) in Europe, it is possible to apply for the status of Individual Member of EPSA. The drug policy is zero tolerance. If an RC member or Helping Team member finds any forbidden substances in your belongings during the congress, your participation will be cancelled and you will be requested to leave at own expense.
